Citi analyst Michael Ward opened a “positive catalyst watch” on Everest Group into the Q2 report. The firm sees improving underlying margins and some insulation from this quarter’s catastrophes due to the company’s improved reinsurance contract terms, which it says is a function of recent pricing strength.
