The Chinese hackers that breached Microsoft’s email platform earlier this year managed to steal 60,000 emails from 10 State Department accounts, Raphael Satter and Zeba Siddiqui of Reuters reports, citing a Senate staffer. Of the 10 victims, 9 were working on East Asia and the Pacific and one worked on Europe, according to the briefing details shared via email by the staffer to Reuters.
