China stock regulators issue net sale ban at open, close, Bloomberg reports

The China Securities Regulatory Commission, led by newly appointed Chairman Wu Qing, is now prohibiting major institutions from “reducing equity holdings at the open and close of each trading day,” to keep the country’s equity market functioning properly, reports Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the matter. “Chairman Wu Qing, has also created a task force with the nation’s stock exchanges to monitor short selling and issue warnings to firms that profit from the wagers,” noted the Bloomberg story… ..Companies that may be interested in this development include: Origin Agritech (SEED), Baidu (BIDU), VNET Group (VNET), JinkoSolar (JKS), China Galaxy Securities (CGXYY) New Oriental Education (EDU)…
