CenterPoint Energy announced a leadership transition that helps position the company to continue driving sustainable value for customers, communities, investors and employees. The Board has unanimously appointed Jason Wells, CenterPoint Energy President and COO, to become President and CEO and a member of the Board of Directors, effective January 5, 2024. David Lesar will retire from his role as CEO and a member of the Board at that time. Lesar will continue to work closely with Wells to support a seamless transition.
