BofA starts ‘underappreciated software value play’ Gen Digital at Buy

As previously reported, BofA analyst Jonathan Eisenson initiated coverage of Gen Digital with a Buy rating and $25 price target, which implies 27% potential upside. The firm views the consumer cyber safety vendor as an “underappreciated software value play” as believes the consumer cyber safety market has large, underappreciated growth opportunities. The company has over 435M “freemium” users and BofA sees large cross-sell and upsell opportunities, the analyst added.
