Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft is set to begin its return to Earth on Friday evening, leaving behind the two NASA astronauts that it took to the International Space Station a few months prior, Kenneth Chang of The New York Times reports. After a length analysis and ground tests, NASA officials were unable to ascertain the cause of the propulsion system problems that arose as the spacecraft approached the space station in June.
