BMW, venture to recall 1.36M vehicles in China over airbags, Reuters says

BMW and BMW Brilliance Automotive, a joint venture based in northeast China, intend to recall a combined 1.36M locally produced and imported vehicles in China due to possible risks with the Takata airbag, Reuters’ Farah Master and Zoey Zhang report, citing China’s market regulator. The recalls cover models produced from 2003-2017, the authors note.
