BMW recalls over 394,000 vehicles over air-bag issue, WSJ reports

BMW North America is recalling over 394,000 vehicles to replace malfunctioning airbags that could explode when deployed, Michael Susin of The Wall Street Journal reports, citing comments made by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The recall includes 3 Series sedan and sports-wagon models from 2006 and 2012 that may have been made with faulty front air bags from Takata.
