The chief executive of Barrick Gold (GOLD), Mark Bristow, said he is not going to join Glencore (GLNCY) in its pursuit Canadian metal firm Teck Resources (TECK), reports Doug Alexander for Bloomberg. Bristow said, in a Bloomberg interview earlier, that his company is monitoring the situation and has no intention to ‘join that process,’ according to the story. The Barrick CEO acknowledged that Teck is a good fit for Glencore as it "carries a lot of synergies, including coal and copper assets in Chile," added Bloomberg. Reference Link
