UBS downgraded Axalta Coating to Neutral from Buy with a price target of $36, up from $35. Much of the positive margin uplift is now more priced in, leaving risk/reward more balanced, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Lower relative volume growth and a higher percentage of contractual price give back will limit Axalta’s earnings growth later in 2024 and 2025, the firm argues.
