AutoNation announces additional $1B share repurchase authorization

AutoNation announced that the board of directors authorized the repurchase of up to an additional $1B of common stock under its share repurchase program and has approximately $1.1B under the program. During the first quarter of 2024 the company made capital expenditures of $94M.
