ASML (ASML) and Samsung (SSNLF) plan to jointly spend around $760M to build a research plant in South Korea using ASML’s next-generation extreme ultraviolet equipment technology, Bloomberg’s Cagan Koc reports. The deal between ASML and Samsung follows a diplomatic exchange between Korea and the Netherlands, the report notes.
