Apple laid off at least 600 after ending car, screen projects, Bloomberg reports

Apple laid off more than 600 California employees after deciding to end its car and smartwatch display projects, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports, citing filings with the California Employment Development Department. An Apple spokeswoman declined to comment on the number of employees affected by the job cuts.
