Apple (AAPL) has dropped out of the race for the NFL’s Sunday Ticket, Dylan Byers and Julia Alexander report. According to the report, Apple has backed out "not because they can’t afford it, but because they don’t see the logic," with Byers and Alexander saying the race is down to Amazon (AMZN) and Google (GOOGL) and that Disney/ESPN (DIS) has exited the bidding, too. DirecTV (T) plans to relinquish the out-of-market package in less than a month, the report notes. Reference Link
