Alternative asset managers Apollo Global Management (APO), KKR & Co. (KKR) and Stonepeak are considering investing in a joint venture that could raise several billion dollars, including debt, that will help fund Intel’s (INTC) semiconductor fabrication facility in Ireland, people with knowledge of the matter told Bloomberg’s Gillian Tan and Ryan Gould. The chipmaker has tapped an adviser on the matter, the authors note. Intel shares are down 9.4% in afternoon trading.
