Wells Fargo analyst Donald Fandetti raised the firm’s price target on Annaly Capital to $19 from $16 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares. Annaly’s core EPS was better than consensus, and book value was up 6.5% quarter over quarter and up 2% through January, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Annaly is seeing attractive mid-teens returns on new investments and Fed cuts would be a positive for the shares, UBS says.
