Amazon’s Mideast rival Noon eliminates 10% of jobs in cost cut, Bloomberg says

Dubai-based e-commerce firm Noon, has reduced its 3,400- strong workforce by 10%, according to its founder Mohamed Alabbar, wrote Zainab Fattah and Nicolas Parasie for Bloomberg. The job cuts at ‘the Middle East’s answer to Amazon’ include marketing and advertising jobs as well as positions in other departments at Noon, Alabbar said in an interview, according to the Bloomberg story.
