Cornele Overstreet, a regional director with the National Labor Relations Board, rejected an appeal by Amazon and has upheld the unionization of the company’s workers in Staten Island, N.Y., Sebastian Herrera of The Wall Street Journal reports. Amazon had argued the union intimidated employees and used other inappropriate methods to convince employees. Overstreet ruled Amazon had not provided sufficient evidence to overturn the election results, an NLRB spokeswoman said, according to the Journal. Reference Link
