Amazon (AMZN) is piloting a new grocery subscription for members of its Prime program, the company said. Members of the company’s Prime program will have the option to pay $9.99 per month to get unlimited grocery delivery from Whole Foods and Amazon Fresh on orders more than $35, according to CNBC’s report on the new offering. “We’re always experimenting with features to make shopping easier, faster, and more affordable, and we look forward to hearing how members who take advantage of this offer respond,” CNBC quoted Tony Hoggett, who leads Amazon’s physical stores business, as having stated. Other companies in the grocery delivery space include Instacart (CART) and Uber (UBER).
