Amazon (AMZN) told the U.K. Competition and Markets Authority that Microsoft (MSFT) uses business practices that restrict customer choice in cloud computing, a move that follows a similar complaint last week from Google (GOOGL), Reuters’ Martin Coulter reports. Amazon alleges that changes to Microsoft’s terms of services had made it difficult for customers to switch to alternative cloud providers, or run competitors’ services alongside. Last week, Google made six recommendations to the CMA, including forcing Microsoft to improve interoperability for customers using its Azure service and alongside other cloud programs, and banning it from withholding security updates from those that switch.
