Amazon’s (AMZN) online pharmacy plans to automatically apply manufacturers’ coupons to more than insulin and diabetes medicines, lowering the cost to as low as $35 per month, Reuters’ Patrick Wingrove reports. Under the new program, Amazon Pharmacy will no longer have to search for and manually enter coupons from Novo Nordisk (NVO), Eli Lilly (LLY), and Sanofi (SNY), the three largest insulin makers, to lower the cost of their insulin.
