Amazon is approaching some ad agencies and offering free head-to-head testing of its platform, Amazon DSP, against competitors, Adweek’s Kendra Barnett reports, citing a pitch deck and sources familiar with the matter. In one particular email exchange, the ecommerce giant also told an agency that it would foot the bill for the rivals’ ad inventory, technology, and media measurement tools needed to conduct the test, the author notes.
