Amazon faces a $280M lawsuit from Gilimex, a manufacturer of warehouse storage systems, who alleges the company abruptly scaled back orders after online spending declined this year, Spence Soper of Bloomberg reports. Gilimex has been a partner of Amazon since 2014 and its facilities has steel-and-cloth storage pods used to organize inventory in Amazon warehouses. Gilimex said it had been in an agreement with Amazon regarding transparency over demand to ensure the company could procure materials and resources for Amazon. However, in April and May, Amazon changed and reduced its projected demand for 2022 and 2023 to a small fraction, the lawsuit said, according to Bloomberg. Reference Link
