DA Davidson keeps a Buy rating and $150 price target on Amazon.com while discussing some of the recent management changes announced by the company. According to CNBC, Trent Green is succeeding Amir Dan Rubin as the CEO of One Medical, and the firm believes that Amazon’s healthcare-related efforts could serve as an important future sales catalyst, estimating a “greater than 10% chance” that the company can generate an incremental 100 basis points of revenue growth in 2026 by exploiting healthcare, where a total addressable market is $19T. DA Davidson further notes that in a blog post on September 1, CEO Andy Jassy has announced that the company added three new executives to its senior leadership group called the S-Team: Dave Brown (VP, AWS), Aicha Evans (CEO, Zoox), Swami Sivasubramanian (VP, AWS). AI can be a future catalyst for sales, and the firm contends that there is almost a 100% chance Amazon can generate an incremental 100 basis points of revenue growth in 2026 by exploiting AI, between its AWS-related and e-commerce efforts, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
