The legal team for Amazon.com has offered no concession in its negotiations with the FTC officials last month, and the regulators are set to file a lawsuit against the e-commerce giant later this month, Dana Mattioli reports, citing people familiar with discussions. The “last-rites meeting” was held on August 15th as a chance for Amazon to make its case to the regulator to head off a possible lawsuit, but its lawyers did not offer specific concessions, the report states. FTC is expected to target a number of Amazon’s business practices, such as its Fulfillment by Amazon logistics program and pricing on Amazon.com by third-party sellers, Mattioli reports.
