Amazon (AMZN) has boosted the free shipping threshold for non-prime members to $35 in some markets, writes Annie Palmer for CNBC. “We continually evaluate our offerings and make adjustments based on those assessments,” said an Amazon spokesperson, according to the CNBC story. The minimum purchase threshold for free shipping had been $25, noted the story. The Fly notes that Walmart (WMT) competes with Amazon in the retail space.
