Piper Sandler analyst Paul Newsome raised the firm’s price target on Allstate to $188 from $172 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The firm comes to the first quarter earnings season with a more muted view. Bottom line performance should be very good, but at least some of that is reflected in the higher valuations year-to-date, in Piper’s view.
