Alibaba’s media and entertainment arm will invest $640M in movies, television dramas and creative events in Hong Kong over the next five years, The Wall Street Journal’s Kimberley Kao reports. Alibaba’s digital media unit currently contributes 2.3% of the ecommerce giant’s revenue, the report notes.
