Activist firm Corvex Management, which is led by Keith Meister, has built a stake in Algonquin Power and is joining other activist investment firms pushing for changes at the company, people familiar with the matter told Reuters’ Svea Herbst-Bayliss and David French. Corvex met with Algonquin’s management last week for the first time in a meeting described as "friendly in nature," the sources added. Algonquin shares are up 2% following the report. Reference Link
