Alcon initiated with a Sector Perform at RBC Capital

RBC Capital initiated coverage of Alcon with a Sector Perform rating and CHF 85 price target. Alcon is a “high-quality company with strong leading and challenger positions” in large ophthalmic markets, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm forecasts the company will take share in its core markets in the medium term, but says its earnings growth outlook is in line with peers, which is reflected in its valuation.
