Alcoa is preparing to disclose that its production will be reduced at the Kwinana alumina refinery, Bloomberg’s Joe Deaux reports, citing a person familiar with the decision. The curtailment will not be a closure, and the facility is currently producing at about 80% capacity, the report states.
