Airbnb listings fall over 75% after NYC regulations begin, NY Post says

Following the city’s crackdown on the home sharing site, over 75% of Airbnb’s short-term rentals in New York City, NYC, have vanished, Lisa Fickenscher of The New York Post reports. The quickly disappearing listings is expected to provide a boon to the city’s hotel industry. The city’s controversial regulations for Airbnb’s largest market went into effect September 5, and limited all short-term rentals to two guests and required the hosts to be present for stays less than 30 days.
