BofA analyst Joshua Shanker raised the firm’s price target on Aflac to $86 from $79 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. Aflac’s Q2 adjusted EPS exceeded the firm’s forecast and Street consensus, notes the analyst, whose EPS forecasts rise following the results. Both segments reported better than expected benefits ratios, which remain below pre-pandemic levels, the analyst added.
