Affirm (AFRM), a platform for digital and mobile buy now, pay later options for consumers, will shut down its Returnly unit, a $300M purchase from 2021, and has teamed with returns management firm Loop Returns, a Shopify (SHOP)-backed competitor, writes Ann Gehan for The Information. Affirm will take a stake in Loop as part of the deal, a person familiar with the matter said, according to The Information.
