AFC Gamma announced that Brandon Hetzel, AFC Gamma’s current executive VP, controller, has been appointed to serve as the company’s CFO and treasurer. Hetzel’s appointment was approved by the company’s board of directors on March 17. Hetzel’s appointment follows the departure of Brett Kaufman, who was previously the company’s CFO and treasurer. This move was made as part of the company’s efforts to rightsize the accounting team.
