AerCap announces major business transactions during Q3

AerCap (AER) has announced its major business transactions during the third quarter 2025: Signed 66 lease agreements, including 14 widebody aircraft, 25 narrowbody aircraft, 15 engines and 12 helicopters. Completed 35 purchases for 17 aircraft, including 8 Airbus (EADSY) A320neo Family aircraft and 9 Boeing (BA) 737 MAX aircraft for AerCap’s owned aircraft portfolio, 11 engines for AerCap’s owned engine portfolio and 7 helicopters. Completed 45 sale transactions for 40 aircraft (including 2 Airbus A320 Family aircraft, 10 Airbus A320neo Family aircraft, 1 Airbus A330, 5 Boeing 737NGs, 7 Boeing 777-300ERs and 5 Embraer E190/E195s from AerCap’s owned aircraft portfolio and 10 aircraft from AerCap’s managed aircraft portfolio), 4 engines (including 1 engine from AerCap’s owned engine portfolio and 3 engines from AerCap’s managed engine portfolio) and 1 helicopter. Received cash insurance settlement proceeds of approximately EUR 203 million and was awarded approximately $234M of interest on the June 11, 2025 judgment of the Commercial Court in London, in respect of its assets lost in Russia in 2022. Repurchased approximately 8.2M shares, at an average price of $119.95 per share, for a total of approximately $981 million. Declared quarterly cash dividend on ordinary shares of 27c per share.
