Adobe intends to end its effort to build a web design product to rival Figma following the collapse of its proposed $20B takeover of the company, Bloomberg’s Brody Ford reports. When Adobe agreed to acquire Figma, it put its competing XD program in “maintenance mode,” the author notes. Adobe has “no plans to further invest” in the product following the Figma deal falling apart, the author says.
