Deutsche Bank raised the firm’s price target on Activision Blizzard (ATVI) to $95 from $89 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. A U.S. federal judge on Tuesday denied the Federal Trade Commission’s injunction filing, which would have prevented the Activision Blizzard-Microsoft (MSFT) deal from closing, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The analyst believes the deal is now very likely to close. The language in the judge’s ruling “creates an uphill battle for an appeal that the FTC isn’t likely to win,” the analyst tells investors in a research note.
