1Life, iRobot deals could be included in Amazon FTC case, Bloomberg says

The Federal Trade Commission is preparing a possible antitrust lawsuit against Amazon.com (AMZN) that could be filed as soon as this spring, Leah Nylen of Bloomberg reports, citing people familiar with the investigations. The Wall Street Journal was first to report the story. The FTC has been investigating Amazon for several years, Nylen points out. Amazon has two acquisitions under antitrust review at the agency, its pending buyouts of 1Life Healthcare (ONEM) and iRobot (IRBT), and the deals could potentially be included in an FTC antitrust complaint, sources told Bloomberg. Shares of 1Life and iRobot moved lower following the Wall Street Journal’s report while Amazon is down 5% to $107.75 in late morning trading following its Q4 results last night.
