Msc Industrial Direct Company (MSM) has released an update to notify the public and investors about the submission of matters to a vote of security holders.
MSC Industrial Direct Co., Inc. held its 2024 Annual Meeting of Shareholders where various proposals were voted upon. All director nominees were elected for a one-year term with high approval rates. The appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as the independent registered public accounting firm for fiscal year 2024 was ratified with over 97% of votes in favor. The compensation of the company’s named executive officers received a similarly high approval rate in an advisory vote. Additionally, shareholders approved an annual frequency for future advisory votes on executive compensation, aligning with the board’s recommendation.
