Kemper Corp (KMPR) has released an update to notify the public and investors about its officers.
On September 18, 2023, Kemper Corporation reported that James J. McKinney’s tenure as Chief Financial Officer ended on September 13, 2023, although he remained with the company until the end of the year to assist with the transition. On January 25, 2024, McKinney and the company finalized a Separation Agreement, granting him a severance payment of $1,975,000 in two parts, compensation for unused paid time off, and outplacement services, contingent upon his adherence to the agreement’s terms, including a waiver and release of claims against the company.
