Google (GOOGL) Goes on the Offensive with the Launch of Gemini Enterprise

Tech giant Google (GOOGL) is taking on rival Microsoft’s (MSFT) 365 Copilot with the launch of Gemini Enterprise, which allows users to interact with AI agents and analyze company data all in one place. Pricing starts at $30 per user per month for the Enterprise plans and $21 for the Business version. This launch is part of Google’s strategy to convert its AI investments into revenue by offering tools that boost workplace productivity.

Notably, Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian explained that Gemini runs on powerful GPUs and custom-built tensor processing units, which are optimized to deliver strong performance, high quality, and low latency. At the heart of Gemini is Google’s large language model, which acts as the “brain” of the platform. In addition, the service includes a workbench for coordinating AI agents and a “taskforce” of ready-to-use agents that can perform tasks like deep research.

Users can also connect Gemini to popular platforms like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce (CRM), and SAP (SAP). They can even monitor the agents to make sure they’re functioning correctly and securely. Still, Google faces tough competition. Microsoft’s AI tools are widely used and brought in $46.7 billion in cloud revenue last quarter. Other rivals, such as OpenAI’s (PC:OPAIQ) ChatGPT Enterprise and Anthropic’s (PC:ANTPQ) Claude, also offer business-focused AI solutions. Still, while Microsoft remains ahead in total cloud revenue, Google’s cloud business has been growing very quickly.

Is Google Stock a Good Buy?

Turning to Wall Street, analysts have a Strong Buy consensus rating on GOOGL stock based on 29 Buys and eight Holds assigned in the past three months. Furthermore, the average GOOGL price target of $251.17 implies that shares are trading near fair value.
