Continental Resources Snapped Up By Hamm Family

Continental Resources (NYSE: CLR) announced on Monday that it will be acquired by the Hamm family through an entity called, Omega Acquisition. Omega Acquisition is owned by Continental’s founder, Harold G. Hamm.

The Hamm family would acquire all 58 million outstanding shares of Continental Resources as on October 12, for an offer price of $74.28 per share. The offer price also includes $0.28 “in lieu of Continental’s anticipated dividend for the third quarter of 2022.”
