S&P Dow Jones Indices has announced that Altium Limited will be removed from the S&P/ASX 200 Index due to its impending acquisition by Renesas Electronics Corporation. In its place, Zip Co Limited will join the S&P/ASX 200, with the changes taking effect from the start of trading on July 22, 2024. This move reflects ongoing shifts in the composition of the market index as companies evolve and new players emerge.
