X5 Retail Group N.V. (GB:FIVE) has released an update.
X5 Retail Group N.V. has significantly boosted its logistics capabilities with the opening of a new, second-largest distribution center for its Pyaterochka retail chain in the Samara Region. The 73,000-square-meter facility will enhance product freshness through specialized storage and support over 820 local stores, while bolstering local producers by reducing transportation costs and increasing their market presence. This expansion is also a boon for employment in the region, adding 550 jobs and supporting a wider network of more than 750 suppliers.
