Worldsec Limited reports a turnaround from a 2022 loss of US$843,000 to a 2023 profit of US$58,000, primarily due to a significant disposal gain from Velocity Mobile Limited. Despite global economic challenges and a decline in private equity and venture capital sectors, the company remains cautiously optimistic with a cash reserve boost from the disposal.
