Westpac Banking Corporation’s first-half 2024 financial results have been affected by notable items totaling a $164 million reduction in net profit, primarily due to unrealised hedge accounting items. In addition, the company has undergone reporting changes, including the restructuring of its operating segments and refinements in financial reporting processes, which have not altered the overall net profit after tax. The detailed results will be announced on May 6, 2024.
