Vista Gold Corp. has announced the receipt of a $7 million payment from Wheaton Precious Metals, as part of a $20 million royalty agreement to support the development of the Mt Todd gold project in Australia. The company has met all required conditions for this second instalment, including government and security approvals, and anticipates a final $10 million payment upon meeting further conditions and initiating a drilling program. Mt Todd is poised as a significant development opportunity, with all necessary permits in place.
