Village Farms International has announced an increase in its stake in Rose LifeScience Inc. to 80%, cementing a strong presence in the Canadian cannabis industry. The additional acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive to Village Farms’ Adjusted EBITDA and Net Income, with Rose’s sales having grown by more than 300% in Quebec. Founders of Rose LifeScience will maintain their roles and continue to own the remaining 20% of the company.
