Vecima Networks Inc. has announced the launch of Entra vCMTS, a new cloud-native virtualized Cable Modem Termination System designed to help cable operators meet the demands of next-generation broadband with support for DOCSIS 4.0 technology. The platform promises high scalability and performance, while also emphasizing automation for improved operational efficiency. The Entra vCMTS is set to undergo lab trials with a major North American operator and will be available for field trials later in the year.
